OT392 – 2 Chronicles 25

Reading the Old Testament with Jesus in Mind: 1 Samuel through Esther (podcast)

Suggestion:  If you are not already familiar with the New Testament, I would not advise you to listen to this podcast at this time.  First, get your grounding in the New Testament.  You can begin with one of these Bible Reading Plans which are focused on Jesus.  You can also listen to my podcast series Reading Through the New Testament a Chapter a Day (SCNT).  The Old Testament needs to be understood in the light of the New Testament; this is what Jesus taught us.  Therefore, we today read and understand the Old Testament through the lens of the New Testament.

One Response to OT392 – 2 Chronicles 25

  1. Timothy says:

Mike, Surely today’s lesson is all encompassing. Everyday I need to remain humble enough to admit; that as a Christian, I do not always embrace what is good, right, proper, or true. May I (as well as us all) admit that we are still learning every day from Him. Where I am wrong, LORD, show me where I am wrong. And let me never exalt myself in my Ego to claim I am right to the exclusion of anyone else! Forgive me, my Brothers and Sisters in the Lord, but YES, I CAN HATE THE SIN BUT LOVE THE SINNER. But since we ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God; we are really no better than the rest. God forgives them too! His grace and mercy is for EVERYONE!
