This is my weekly Bible teaching.
When I began this weekly teaching about six months ago, it was a review of the chapters I had read the previous week in the daily Bible reading podcast. However, I gradually moved away from that focus and began speaking more generally about Bible topics.
Up until this week’s teaching, I had been trying to simultaneously produce an audio and a video version of the podcast. However, beginning this week, I am eliminating the audio version (so it will no longer come to the “mike gantt app” on your smartphone). I will only record a video version. I feel that I’ve been distracted by trying to “serve two masters” (video and audio). Of course, one audience can see and hear me while the other can only hear me. And then there’s the extra machinery to operate and buttons to push. We’ll see if this helps me do a better job of staying focused. Also, I realized that if someone only wants to listen and not look, the YouTube clip played through your smartphone will deliver the audio for such a person. (It does, however, require streaming, while podcasts can be downloaded to the phone and then accessed offline.)
Starting today, this weekly teaching is available only in the YouTube video below (for the reasons explained above).
