Why is the name of the Lord Jesus Christ so polarizing? That is, why, when it is spoken, does it inspire either very positive reactions or very negative reactions?
Some names – like Mother Theresa or Billy Graham – inspire positive reactions. Other names – like Adolph Hitler or Joseph Stalin – evoke negative reactions. The name of Jesus Christ, however, can cause either the most positive of reactions or the most negative of reactions…depending on the person who hears it. Why is that?
It seems that everyone cares very much about this name…one way or the other. There must be a reason for that.
