The Kingdom of Me Versus the Kingdom of God

I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.  –  Galatians 2:20

Paul is renouncing allegiance to “The Kingdom of Me” and declaring allegiance to “The Kingdom of God.”

You and I have the privilege of doing the same.

However, you may still be engaged in old habits – especially mental habits – which keep you in subjection to “The Kingdom of Me.” Watch out for those.  Shed them.  If you don’t, they’ll keep you from the manifold blessings that come with the kingdom of God.
