Why Do We Make Life with God So Complicated?

There is nothing complicated about living in close relationship with God.  It’s a matter of living in close relationship with Jesus Christ.

You know Jesus Christ.  He’s the one who was crucified for your sins and who was raised from the dead three days later.

He’s also the one whose name so many people do not want to hear.

You know what He’s like.  He’s love personified.  He’s selfless.  He’s generous with all He has.  Living in relationship with Him means living as He does, walking in His ways.  It’s not always easy, but it’s never complicated.

Bible notes on this post.

The purpose of this blog is to proclaim Jesus Christ to those who want to hear about Him without having to join a church – or anything else – but Him.

    Agreed, Mike.

Life with God in Christ is anything but complicated, yet it is impossible for me to walk in His ways as soon as I try to love as He loved on my own. And when I find myself weak, that is, without the divine spiritual power to love, to believe, to trust, or to do the right thing though I don’t want to do it – the whole thing gets really difficult. I always need Jesus to remind me that I should ask for His help in any situation first, and then I’ll succeed. Alas, I am so forgetful in these things. But our God is unspeakably patient with me. Praise the Lord! 🙂

Indeed, we’re not alone because He is faithful and true to never leave our side. He lets us get back life on a whole new level from Monday until Sunday. 😉 I’ve been spending my time and was waiting all my life until I found Him I was searching for. Only He is able ‘to bow the strings that move my heart’. And I know God will help me that my raw love for Him grows stronger every day.

Life with God makes perfect sense to me. I leave my heart in His hands and I follow wherever He will lead the way. I know in anticipation that there’s no need to be alarmed at anything because He’ll always mend my heart. No one but Him has the key to unlock the door and break the chains (Is 61:1; Lk 4:18) in order to set me completely free (Jn 8:36).

Only He can fill the need that builds and burns so deep inside me: neither fame, nor praise of men, nor riches, nor human love alone could ever fill this void, this emptiness inside the human heart. He alone can fill it with His supernatural love from another dimension… 😉
