Meat Loaf with Peace Is Better Than Steak with Strife

The next time your family sits around the table to eat, remember that the most important thing they’re ingesting is not the food on the table but rather the quality of the dialogue around the table.

Where Jesus presides in a human heart, peace prevails.  Otherwise, watch out for strife because even when it’s not present, it’s always right around the corner.

Bible notes on this post.

The purpose of this blog is to proclaim Jesus Christ to those who want to hear about Him without having to join a church – or anything else – but Him.

  1. I’ve lost the reflex to resist in life – each time – finding out there is struggle and strife.
Of course, storms may come and winds may blow but the river of love will safely flow…

“Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses.” (Prv 10:12)

Why not jump like a salmon upstream into the unknown that lies ahead?
There’s nothing in between but space and time, so open up your heart for love divine.

  2. ‘Where Jesus presides in a human heart, peace prevails.‘

    I still remember…

But, repeatedly (!), the mind fails to understand what the heart tells us to be aware of. If we really saw Jesus Christ, we’d trade our life for no other.

I’m honored to know the very meaning of peace for my time upon the planet earth, although I have hardly felt peace for some time past.

  3. This is the first day of the rest of your life…
And today His Love can bring us peace…
Instead of war, or struggle and strife.

This life is so uncertain with little to know for sure…
    But I know…
His Eternal Love for you will never cease…
