The Pursuit of Virtue Through Jesus Christ – Part 2 of 3

You cannot live a life of virtue for Jesus Christ unless you are willing to repent of your sins.

To repent means to change your way, to change your thinking, to change your mind.

A person who genuinely repents will have changes in behavior as well as changes in motivation.

Although it helps to be sorry for your sins, it doesn’t help if you don’t change your thinking and actions accordingly.

Because our sin is great, repentance cannot be completed in one transaction.  It is an attitude that must be renewed each morning as we set out to give a day to God.

Was your life so virtuous yesterday that you have nothing from which you need to repent today?

Bible notes on this post.

The purpose of this blog is to proclaim Jesus Christ to those who want to hear about Him without having to join a church – or anything else – but Him.
