The Life

Never was a life lived like the life of Jesus of Nazareth.  His life was so great that it is rightly considered “the life.”  Jesus even called Himself “The Life.”

Jesus’ life did not end with His death.  Oh, no.  It was dramatically renewed in His resurrection from the dead to indestructible life.  He is alive without end.  He will never – even for a moment – not be alive again.

Jesus shares His life with us.  We partake of it when we trust Him.

What does it mean to trust Him?  It does not mean to merely pray what is called “the sinner’s prayer” as if that transaction accomplished something that never needs to be revisited.  Rather, it means to live life in the conviction that God is, and that He rewards those pursue the moral excellence that He Himself demonstrated.

If we don’t trust Him we don’t really live.  We just exist until we die.

Acknowledge Jesus Christ every moment of your life and His life will become your life.

No wonder we call Him “the life.”

Call on His Name:  The Life.

Bible notes on this post.

The purpose of this blog is to proclaim Jesus Christ to those who want to hear about Him without having to join a church – or anything else – but Him.
