The Leader

If ever there was a leader of men, it was Jesus of Nazareth.

If ever there was a leader of spirits, it was the One who led the dead from their graves to heaven.

He is the Leader of all.

A leader goes in front.  A leader provides an example.  A leader shows the way.

Jesus did all these things.

Isaiah the prophet called him “leader” hundreds of years before He was born.  This prophecy became part of the messianic expectation.

Even today Jesus is leading us.  For this reason His call still rings out, “Follow Me!”

Are you?

The purpose of this blog is to proclaim Jesus Christ to those who want to hear about Him without having to join a church – or anything else – but Him.

    Q: ‘Are you?’
    A: Always try! 😉

Apart from following Jesus, and looking at it the other way round – I don’t know which concrete way leads me to Him (maybe it’s the way behind the gray of the day on which I will stay 🙂 ). Only He knows what He has chosen for my future life time here.

It was almost too good to believe just thinking of Him who walked into my life, and how the compass in my heart started to spin! Indeed, from then on my life has changed for me; I knew I wouldn’t need my own compass any more since our Lord wanted to be the leader of my already well-planned life.

And only after I say my prayers as I drift off to sleep, I find myself speaking His name and thinking, “Heaven is bringing out eye catching beauty… so that I forget the world and all its duty.” 😉 Or in other words, I guess Jesus is leading me ‘all over and all the time‘ (Jeremiah 31:9-11) though I – beholding Him – am mostly unaware of it.
