Yesterday’s post declared that the Lord is, that He is here in our midst, and that He always will be.
This raises the question, “Are you obeying Him?”
If not, He has made provision for that. It’s called repentance. To repent is to change, to change one’s mind, to change one’s direction.
Stop turning away from God and instead always turn to God.
If you have not obeyed the Lord, turn to Him now. Always turn to Him.
Have you been forgetting about Him? Then turn to Him.
Do you keep forgetting about Him? Then keep turning to Him. He is the Lord. To whom else are you going to turn?
If you fall from the Lord 100 times, then turn to the Lord 100 times. You must learn to live this way, and forsake your old way of living.
He will accept you. He will not turn you away. Not ever.
But you must obey what you know His wishes to be. You can’t keep Him in mind if you prefer your _____________ (insert anything else besides the Lord).
He will always be the Lord. This is why you can always repent.
Live a life of repentance. He is the Lord.
