The Lord – 1 of 3

The Lord is with us today.  We can be very happy about that, because He is good.

How do we know the Lord is good?  Because He passed this way as Jesus of Nazareth.  We crucified Him, but He forgave us for it all.  He loves us.  Deeply.  And enduringly.

He is the Lord.  Because He is the Lord, we should obey Him.  What good is it to call Him “Lord” and not obey Him?

What does He command us to do?  The right thing.

What is the right thing?  To love.  In fact, to lay down our lives for those around us.

How can we find the power to live this kind of love?  By acknowledging His presence at all times.  By remembering that He loved us this much.  By loving Him more than we love life itself.

He is the Lord.  If we love Him, He will know it.  If we stay conscious of Him, He will know it.

He is the Lord.  We are His servants.  Let us so live and so act, knowing that our lives will be judged on this basis.

He doesn’t ask much; He asks everything.  He is the Lord.  He owns us.

He is here.  He is here now.  He never leaves nor forsakes us.

Trust in the Lord and do good.

Live for the Lord.  Live in the presence of the Lord.

He is the Lord.  He is here.  He is here now.  He always will be.  He is the Lord.

The purpose of this blog is to proclaim Jesus Christ to those who want to hear about Him without having to join a church – or anything else – but Him.
