Christ Is the Mystery of God

In his New Testament epistles, the apostle Paul calls Christ “the mystery of God.”

Indeed it is a mystery how God could have been in Jesus of Nazareth to bring about the salvation of the world.

How could God have been in a human being and escaped notice by the world?  But it happened.  Read the Bible and see it so.  Not only did the world not recognize God in Christ, they crucified Him!

And how could the defeat of death mean the ultimate victory of life for Jesus…and for the entire human race?  And yet it does.  For we who live now go on to live with Him forever.

There is much more to learn about Christ that I could put in a blog post, or an entire blog, or an entire lifetime.  In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.  Let us seek them out.

There is much more to learn about Christ than we have yet heard.  We shall be studying Him for all eternity.  There is that much to learn!
