Can You See the Lord? – Part 1

Can you see the Lord?

Yes…if you look the right way.

He’s not traceable by the physical eye…but you can see how Jesus of Nazareth lived in the gospels of the New Testament.  That was God coming to the earth.  He was raised from the dead and now dwells in heaven.

From there He sees you.  Even though you can’t physically see Him, He can see you.  And He sees everything about you.  Even your thoughts and emotions.  If you know this, you are “seeing” Him with the “eyes” of your understanding.

Therefore, know and understand that God – the Lord Jesus Christ – is seeing you and you will simultaneously be seeing Him.

Does this seem strange?  It shouldn’t.  It’s the way we should live.  Our Creator is keeping His eye on us, and we shouldn’t want it any other way.

Living right is simply a matter of remembering this…and doing those things that are pleasing in His sight.

Bible notes on this post.

The purpose of this blog is to proclaim Jesus Christ to those who want to hear about Him without having to join a church – or anything else – but Him.

  1. “And now here is my secret, a very simple secret; it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.”

“But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”— these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.” (1 Cor 2:9-10)
