There Is No Need to Be Afraid of Death

Most people are afraid to die…and it is a crippling fear.  Yet there is no need for you to be afraid of death.  Jesus Christ has rendered it powerless over you.  When the time comes for you to die, you will leave this world…but will go on living forever and ever.

You do not have to do anything to make this happen.  It is fully guaranteed for every human being.

You will, however, want to repent of your sins and live for God between now and then so that when you get to heaven you can hold your head up and say thank you to Jesus Christ.  Otherwise you might have regret once you get there…and who wants that?

Do not be afraid of death!  Everyone Is Going to Heaven.

Bible notes on this post.

The purpose of this blog is to proclaim Jesus to those who want to hear about Him without having to join a group.

“Regrets, I’ve had a few, but then again, too few to mention.”
Yeah, you don’t want them nasty regrets haunting you for the next 100 trillion years.
Jebus might not invite you to his New Years eve party!! Can you say kegger!!?

You will one day remember this warning that you should repent so as to avoid regret. I hope that day comes in time. Otherwise, your regret will be all the more painful.

Neither Frank Sinatra (who popularized the song you quote) nor Paul Anka (who wrote the lyrics you quote) sing it with any joy in heaven. In fact, I think they’d both prefer we all just forget about it. It doesn’t glorify our Creator.
