We Do Not Proclaim Church or Christians; Rather, We Proclaim Jesus as Lord

You don’t have to go to church.  You don’t have to self-identify as a Christian.  But you do need to obey Jesus.

Jesus of Nazareth was resurrected from the dead and rules forever as Lord of heaven and earth.  In other words, there is a Creator God managing all the affairs of creation and Jesus is His name.  If you would avoid God’s wrath and find His blessing, you must seek Him.  That’s as simple as seeking His morality (or righteousness).

Serve Jesus and you will find blessing in the midst of all the world’s troubles.  Do not think that you can find Him if you continue to live selfishly.  Do not think that you can find Him through attending church regularly.  Do not think you can find Him if you call yourself a Christian and join Christian groups.  You can find Him if you search for Him with all your heart.  He is the righteous One.  Trust Him and imitate Him.

Bible notes on this post.

The purpose of this blog is to praise Jesus Christ for those who want to hear about Him without having to join a church, organization, mailing list, or anything else other than Him.

  1. Steve says:

When it comes to Jesus, there is no salvation in anyone else, for there is not another name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must get saved.

I believe this as Jesus is my personal Savior. And I also believe that you can not you just can not believe we it is convenient. ‘His perfect life given in sacrifice makes it possible for us to have forgiveness of sins. But I also know that it is also vital to pay attention to his instructions regarding our responsibilities as Christians.

While we may not proclaim a church, we do follow Jesus foot steps closely. By doing so, that makes us christians.

    Agreed, Mike.

I’m constantly amazed at how He makes all my troubles dissolve, for He can set a fire that is burning away every bad memory. Only He can start a fire with a flame in the heart by which the memories rushing into the mind are more and more burning away (cf. Rom 5:5). He is the One to make me forget everything else in life and the guarantee to sweep me off my feet… 🙂

His Love is like a heaven bound fortress that is forever immovable. Also, His Love is like a gentle medicine to cure the pain of open wounds. Slowly but surely all things are going to be fine… 😉
