The fate of our nation hinges on our morality in the sight of God. And it is not just the public morality that counts, it is the personal morality that each of us practice.
God sees our hearts and will judge us according to our deeds. If we do right, if we are honest, if we are fair with others, if we treat them the way we want to be treated, then God will give our nation an even greater future than its past. If, however, we are immoral, we cheat, we lie, we lust, we live selfishly, then our nation’s decline will be great and our posterity will suffer because of it.
What is true of our nation is true of any and all nations. Those that do right will be exalted; those that do not will fall. Let us forsake our pride and humble ourselves before Jesus Christ – for He is God – lest our land be struck with plague after plague.
You do not have to go to church to acknowledge Jesus, but you do have to live as morally as you know how.
Bible notes on this post.
The purpose of this blog is to praise Jesus Christ for those who want to hear about Him without having to join a church, organization, mailing list, or anything else other than Him.
