God is impartial. He doesn’t play favorites. What He does for someone else, He will do for you.
God doesn’t favor Christians. He favors those who fear Him and do His will. There is no favored religion. Yes, it’s true that Christianity (as presented in the Bible, not as practiced by churches today) is the truth and Jesus Christ Himself testified to that fact. But it’s not knowing the truth that gains you favor with God, it’s obeying the truth that impresses Him.
The more you know of God’s will, the more He expects of you – just like any loving parent who expects more of an older child than of a younger one. A person who knows only a little truth and obeys it is much better off than a person who knows a great deal of truth without obeying it.
Is your problem that you don’t know enough about God’s will, or is your problem that you are not obeying God’s will that you already know? It’s probably the latter. Turn to God. Repent of your sins. Live the way you know in your heart that He wants you to live.
Be kind. Be loving. Be selfless. Submit your thought life entirely to Him, constantly acknowledging that He is witness to your every thought.
God does not love you any more or less than any of His other children. Let us think and act accordingly!
