The Goal of This Blog

The goal of this blog is love.

Love means first loving God, and loving Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.  Second, it means loving your fellow human beings, beginning with those nearest you.

This love should proceed from a heart that is pure.  A pure heart is one that is always open to God’s eyes.  It never thinks anything of which God would disapprove.

Your pure heart should be accompanied by a good conscience.  That is, you should always be focused on wanting to do the right thing in God’s eyes.  God’s interests are not hard to discern; you just have to take the time to think through what He’d want in any given situation.

Lastly, your pure heart and good conscience should be founded upon a sincere faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.  Because He gave His life for us, you can trust Him in every single situation you face in life.  He is worthy of our trust.

That’s it: if you love from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith then your relationship with God is growing and my purpose in this blog is being achieved.

The purpose of this blog is to provide information about Jesus to those who want to hear about Him without having to join something.

  1. Hi Mike,

Jesus is great.. Jesus is beloved of all!

So far as sharing the information on Jesus.. there are plenty of missionaries who are doing this work. Wouldn’t it be nice idea to invoke Jesus in you instead? I feel you would greatly benefit from Master AD’s advices and techniques on meditation and Yoga for entering the kingdom of God which in fact your inner space rather than something up there in the sky.

    Take care,

    J

    1. Jesus is not merely in the sky; He is everywhere. He is God. Entering the kingdom of God does not require “techniques on meditation and yoga.” Rather, it requires subjecting one’s will to His. That is, to think and do what He commands – which is to live in selfless love for God and those around us.
