Everything in Creation Teaches About Redemption

There is only one God.  Therefore, the God who redeems us for eternity through Jesus Christ is the same God who created the heavens and the earth.  Moreover, the heavens and the earth were created for the specific purpose of redeeming us.  It is obvious from the Garden of Eden account that sin originated in heaven before it ever occurred on earth.  Otherwise, what would have been the source of temptation for Adam and Eve?

Therefore, God created the heavens and earth with the idea that they should teach about His character and His redeeming love.  Therefore, when we see Jesus described in the Bible as a seed, we can see that God designed seeds to work in the way that Jesus would work.  That is, hold a seed and nothing happens.  Plant it in the ground, and it dies…but then springs forth into a plant bearing fruit.  It’s not as though while considering Jesus, God looked about for an apt analogy and then thought of the seed.  On the contrary, He designed the way that seeds would work exactly along the lines that His redemption through Jesus would work.  Therefore, strengthen your relationship with God by looking to creation (or science, if you will) to find patterns that will teach you about God’s character and His redeeming love.

The purpose of this blog is to provide information about Jesus to those who want to hear about Him without having to join something.
