You cannot serve God yesterday – it is already gone.
You cannot serve God tomorrow – it has not gotten here yet.
Today is the only day that you can serve the Lord. Moreover, it is the only day He is asking you to serve Him. In fact, He insists that we keep our minds off of the worries of tomorrow.
If you would serve the Lord, do not procrastinate. Procrastination is just another word for disobedience.
Don’t say that you don’t have time to serve the Lord today for serving the Lord does not require you to have any more hours or even minutes in the day than you already have. It only requires you to do for Him what you would have done for yourself. That is, it requires you to do everything from a motive of love for Him and others. Thus, obeying God adds no time requirements to your day for they are a matter of motivation. (Of course, if you were planning to rob a bank it will change your deeds as well.)
Today is the only day you can serve the Lord. Make it count!
The purpose of this blog is to provide information about Jesus to those who want to hear about Him without having to join something.
