An invitation like you see in the title usually implies that you should visit or join a church. I do not mean it that way at all.
In fact, I urge you to bypass church and go straight to Jesus. Church is a detour on the road to Jesus Christ.
Jesus of Nazareth lived and died just as portrayed in the New Testament. Equally important, He was raised from the dead and ascended into heaven just as portrayed in the New Testament. From there He reigns as God Almighty, for the great mystery of Jesus of Nazareth is that He was God in the flesh dwelling among us.
Jesus died for the sins of the whole world – not just those of believers, but for the sins of unbelievers, too.
How do you “come to Him?” Acknowledge Him in your heart even though you can’t see Him with your physical eyes. Live every moment seeking His approval. He is not hard to please. He asks simply that you trust Him, and do the right thing. When you slip up, return to Him (for you can only slip up when you forget He’s looking at you). Live the rest of your life as if there is an invisible dimension (it’s called heaven) that is even more important than the physical dimension with which you’re far more familiar. You will begin to more aware of His thoughts in your heart, comforting and guiding you. Have conversations with Him in the quietness of your innermost being.
Jesus will make your life in this world worth living, and will give you an even greater life in the world to come. Avoid detours. Take the straight path to Him.
