A: First, let me make a distinction: I am indeed negative about the church, but not about the people who are in it. The people, for the most part, are as well-intentioned as anyone who does not go to church. The problem is with the church as a system or structure. That system blinds people. It makes them think they are serving God, when they are really just being sidelined into meaningless rituals and superfluous relationships which only reinforce their worldly orientation. There is no way to redeem that system; it must be identified as the problem that it is. If that problem is identified, then the people can be saved from it so that they can leave it and serve the kingdom of God instead. The real evil of the church is that it blinds people to the kingdom of God.
