When Jesus entered Jerusalem on what we call Palm Sunday, the crowds were shouting His praises, “Hosanna to the son of David!” Even the children were joining in the lavish accolades to the Messiah of Israel.
I don’t know how much the children really understood of what was going on – maybe not much by adult standards. Nonetheless, Jesus wouldn’t try to silence them because He knew they were engaged in appropriate activity.
I can relate to those children. I don’t know much, but I do know that Jesus is who He claimed to be: the Messiah of Israel and the Savior of the world. That’s why I write this blog – it’s a way of shouting, “Hosanna!” to Him.
